Intelligent Twin Screw Extruder Ancillaries

PRISM extends the capability of bench-top twin-screw compounding by offering a full range of co-ordinated ancillaries. Up-stream a bench mounted change-bowl mixer provides consistent reliable premixes. The extruder can be fed with solids through volumetric or gravimetric feeders and liquid dosing pumps. Downstream product can be pelletised in a traditional water quench strand line, or air colled face-cut. As an alternative, the melt can be converted directly into a sheet or blown film. All these ancillaries can be connected to the base extruder, where the touch-screen control and data-logging facility, simplify the operation of the line.
