Optical Control Systems

The Optical Control Systems (OCS) range of products allow the measurements and recording of in-homogeneities and black specks as well as other physical, chemical and rheological parameters important in the production of polymers.

OCS has been developing and supplying measuring systems based on optical data processing and also related devices for the polymer and petrochemical industries for over 10 years.

The systems offer precision cameras in conjunction with high performance online image processing, so that even the smallest defects in polymer products are detected, located and analysed in detail.

Piston Injection Moulding System

The HAAKE MiniJet is a piston injection moulding machine and provides efficient sample preparation for testing mechanical and measuring rheological properties. A variety of different sample specimen forms is commonly required to perform thorough mechanical testing. These specimens can be produced using an injection moulding machine, cut manually from pressed sample plates, or created manually using some type of specific sample test device. The need to produce various sample forms coupled with the common reality of limited material quantities can often create great difficulty in a product's development.

Rheometers

The HAAKE rheometers characterise a fluid by its viscous properties and also the elastic properties of the material.
