Injection
Moulding System
The
HAAKE MiniJet is a piston injection moulding machine and provides
efficient sample preparation for testing mechanical and measuring
rheological properties.
A
variety of different sample specimen forms is commonly required
to perform thorough mechanical testing. These specimens can be produced
using an injection moulding machine, cut manually from pressed sample
plates, or created manually using some type of specific sample test
device. The need to produce various sample forms coupled with the
common reality of limited material quantities can often create great
difficulty in a product's development.

Process Viscometer - Squeeze Flow
The HAAKE Piezo
Axial Vibrator (PAV) Viscometer is a squeeze flow viscometer
and will be shown for the first time in Australia at Ausplas. The
system can operate up to 200degC for polymer melts either in the
extruder (pressure port) or in the die. The rheometer provides continuous
information on the viscoelastic properties of the liquid so that
the necessary action can be taken to keep the product within specification.

Open
System Torque Rheometer
The HAAKE PolyLab
OS is a modular torque rheometer platform for proces engineering
applications. The "OS" stands for the fundamental platform concept
- that of Open System, allowing a number of standardised sensors
and systems to be connected to if for optical, viscosity, and spectroscopy
measurements.
The HAAKE PolyLab
OS is designed to conduct mechanical characterisation of fluids
or solids through deformation, shear or stress at defined environmental
conditions.

Torque
Rheometer
The
HAAKE PolyLab System consists of the Rheocord Torque Rheometer,
which includes all functionality for driving and controlling the
measuring sensors. It is the control centre for the external PC
as well as the other system components such as the measuring sensors,
measuring dies and post extrusion units.
The
HAAKE PolyLab System has been designed as a Plug & Play unit.
The mobile Rheomix mixer and Rheomex extruder sensors dock onto
the base unit. The Rheocord automatically detects the configuration
and unit specifications.

Rheometer & Mixer
The
HAAKE Poly Lab System used together with the Rheomix sensor produces
rheograms that provide production-related information such as: dynamic
viscosity depending on the shear load, melt behaviour in the extruder,

Micro
Compounder
The
HAAKE MiniLab is a Micro Compounder with conical twin-screw, which
offer a short and very defined dwell time. The unit is scaled down
to micro-size and is perfect for material science and development.
The
HAAKE MiniLab enables compounding and rheological measurement with
a micro amount of material - about 8g. The Micro Compounder fetaures:
viscosity measurement, automatic bypass operation for circulation/extrusion,
inert gas flush of the feeding area, pneumatic feeding, digital
and graphical data display, and manual or computer control.
