The PA66 Measuring System from Optical Control Systems was developed for the polymer industry. It is a system for automated quality control of raw materials based on optical image recording and processing.

The PA66 Measuring System from OCS was developed for the polymer industry. It is a system for automated quality control of raw materials based on optical image recording and processing. It is precise, fast and non-labour-intensive.
The Pellet Analyser PA66 is a combination of two OCS products, Pellet Scanning System PS25C and the Pellet Size and shape Distribution Analysis System PSSD.
The Pellet Scanning System PS25C inspects transparent and opaque granules with regard to contamination, discolouration and foreign bodies, which have different colour than the source material, and the Pellet Size and Shape Distribution Analysis System PSSD measures the size and shape of granules or pellets.
Together they allow all this information to be gathered in one measurement.
Specially designed software is used which offers a multitude of adjustment options, enabling the user to configure the system exactly according to individual requirements.
The inspection can be observed on a monitor. The results can be presented by a variety of graphics and tables printed with a colour printer. All measuring data and results are stored on hard disk along with the time and date which facilitates later evaluation (SPC).
The System is mounted on a special frame which positions each unit correctly allowing the material to run directly from one to other. The System counts the inspected pellets.
Optionally, a weighing device is available which shows the amount of pellets measured.
